Hawaii Intern XAPfest – Intro Session #1: Silverlight for Windows Phone
In this talk, we will cover Silverlight and its capabilities and will discuss how it fits into the Windows Phone development architecture. We will cover XAML, controls, events, animations, and data binding. There will be demos throughout. Attendees are encouraged to BYOL (bring your own laptop) with the latest Windows Phone Developer Tools (http://create.msdn.com) installed so they can follow along.

I’m an Australian (so you won’t understand me) SDET (so you’ll fall asleep) working on performance (I’ll speak way too fast) for the WP Developer Platform. I get way too excited about my job, so you probably don’t want sit in the front row (I’m also kind of corny, in case you couldn’t tell).
