Yu Zheng received his B.S. in electronic & mechanism and M.S. in communication
& information system from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China
in 2001 and 2003 respectively. In 2006, he received his Ph.D. degree in communication
& information system from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China
and immediately joined Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing, China as an associate researcher.
Previously,his research interests include information security, trusted computing, wireless network, embedded system and cryptography.
He became a Member of IEEE and a Member of IEEE communication society in 2005. He
had published more than 30 papers in these fields and reviewed some papers for several
IEEE/ACM journals, magazines and conferences. Now, his research interests include
information retrieval,
mobile & local search,
multimedia search,
Data Mining and Machine Learning,
pervasive computing and
mobile & wireless network.
