Scope

In view of the recent popularity of social network applications and the growing community interest in social networking research, discussions were raised at Sigcomm 2007, suggesting the need to examine research directions in this space.

The scope of this workshop is to discuss recent research advancements, trends, and applications in the space of social networking. Particular focus would be given to the implications of social networking on network design, including applications and networked systems. The goal of the workshop is to help identify important questions for future research.
