My academic roots can be traced back to the nursery division of Green Fields School, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi towards the end of the twentieth century (1982 to be precise). After a "brief" stint of 12 years there (unfortunately not in the nursery division all the time), I managed to pass the All India Secondary School Examination (informally "class 10th board examination") conducted by CBSE in 1994. After two years at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram I cleared the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (informally "class 12th board examination"). The same year (1996) I cleared the IIT-JEE with a rank of 1101 (yes I was digitally inclined from the beginning). The next 5 wonderful years (somehow time seems just a bit more wonderful when it has actually passed) were passed at IIT, Delhi (mostly ... apart from DCM Data Systems, CLIPS, IMAG and IBM IRL) from where I emerged with a Five year Integrated Master of Technology in Mathematics and Computing. Since then I have done stints at BT Labs (UK) , Novell (India), INRIA (France), BTexact (UK) and INRIA again.
