Kiosk Logging Tool
With an effort to quantitatively understand what
people do in rural kiosks; we have adapted an existing tool developed at MSR
Redmond (VibeLog) to be able
to monitor rural kiosk usage.
The tool collects usage statistics anonymously and
gathers specific information, like how long the kiosk is ON every day, how many
users/day, what applications they are visiting etc.
The goal is to give an objective estimate about the
utility of kiosks in these challenging rural conditions.
