I received my PhD degree from University of Toronto in 2003, working under the supervision of Allan Borodin. My Thesis was on the theoretical and experimental analysis of Link Analysis Ranking algorithms. After completing my thesis, I worked for four months as a post-doctoral fellow with Stefano Leonardi at the Univeristy of Rome, La Sapienza. From 2004 to 2006 I was a post-doctoral fellow, at the University of Helsinki working with Heikki Mannila. Besides my research at the University, I also did an internship at Verity Inc, and at NIH. I joined Microsoft in September 2006, working as Researcher in Search Labs, a research group headed by Rakesh Agrawal. My research interests include ranking, algorithmic data mining, and social network analysis.
