Orion Hodson

I am a senior software developer in the Operating Systems group at Microsoft Research. I primarily work on the Singularity O/S project.

Before coming to MSR in July 2004, I worked on the XORP open source router project at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley. XORP's goal is to produce an extensible routing platform for research and development purposes. It's a monster project with a great group of people working on it.

I was formerly a member of the Networked Multimedia Research Group in the CS department of University College London. I worked on multicast conferencing applications, in particular the Robust Audio Tool (aka RAT). I also contributed to UCL's RTP and multimedia library, and was a committer on the FreeBSD project.
