Welcome to the PLDI 2000 home page! It contains the latest program, tutorial, registration, and hotel information for the conference.

Important Dates

PLDI 2000 is a forum in which researchers, developers, educators, and practitioners can exchange information on the latest practical and experimental work in the design and implementation of programming languages.  PLDI seeks original papers that focus on practical issues in the design, development, implementation and use of programming languages. Emphasis is placed on novel language designs, innovative uses of compile-time and run-time technology, as well as experimental results and experiences from actual implementations.

Advance conference program

Tutorials are on Sunday, June 18th.  Tutorial speakers include:

Workshop on Languages, Compilers, and Tools for Embedded Systems (LCTES 2000) will be held on Sunday, June 18th.

National Compiler Infrastructure Tutorial will be held on Saturday, June 17th.   Students are encouraged to apply for the NSF-sponsored travel grants for attending the tutorial. Please visit the tutorial web page for more information.

Registration information.  (SIGPLAN Professional Activities Committee (PAC) has funds available to support students who present at SIGPLAN sponsored venues such as PLDI. See http://www.acm.org/sigs/sigplan/PAC for instructions on how to apply for PAC support.)
