DRIVING
From Seattle to DigiPen, take 520 east. Exit at NE 51st St.
Turn left (west) at stop light, crossing the highway. One driveway
past the first intersection (150th Ave NE), turn left into DigiPen.
There is a Nintendo building in the background.

1) You must get into the 520 exit lane before reaching
the 40th St. exit.

2) Occasionally the 520 bridge is closed weekends for maintenance.
If it is closed, take highway 90 east to 405, then 405 north to 520.
KIRO radio (710 AM) has traffic information.

3) Also use 405 for access to 520 if you come from
Portland, SEATAC (Seattle airport), Vancouver, or Spokane.

From these origins to Marriott Redmond Town Center,
go one more exit on 520, exiting at W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE.
Go left one block, then turn right into Leary Way.
Two traffic lights later, turn right at Bear Creek Parkway.
Turn left one block later, into NE 74th St.
The Marriott (7401 164th Ave NE) is on your left two blocks later,
just before you reach 164th.
Don't confuse this with Marriott Residence Inn, which is also on 164th.

From Marriott to DigiPen, reverse the route along 74th Ave,
Bear Creek Parkway and Leary Way. At the end of Leary Way,
continue straight onto the 520 onramp.
Go one exit along 520, exiting at NE 51st St.
After you turn right at a traffic light, move towards the left lane.
Turn into the DigiPen parking lot after you pass 150th Ave NE.

BUS
From SEATAC to Marriott or Digipen, go to the third floor
of the airport parking garage and take Shuttle Express

They take you to your destination for about $30 one way.

From downtown Seattle (including Amtrak and Greyhound stations) to
Marriott or DigiPen, take the Sound Transit 545
(destination Bear Creek P/R via SR 520;
fare $2.50 for trips across Lake Washington).

for schedules and pick-up points. Use "5001 150th Ave"
for DigiPen's address.

If headed from Seattle to DigiPen, exit the 545 at the northbound
NE 51st St buspad. Cross the highway and cross 51st as you head west.
One short block later, take the driveway marked 5001 150th Ave NE.

If headed from Seattle to the Marriott, go one stop further, exiting
at Leary Way and W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. Go backwards 200 ft
and turn left into Leary Way. Follow the driving instructions.

From Marriott to DigiPen, walk to Leary Way and W. Sammamish.
Cross W. Sammamish to the Sammamish Landing minimall.
Wait at the bench in front of the 7-Eleven.
You can board a 545 bus bound for Seattle (fare $1.50 --
exit one stop later, at the southbound NE 51st St buspad)
or a 230 bus bound for Totem Lake (weekend fare $1.25 --
the 230 exits at 51st and turns left, so get off immediately
and walk to the other side of the highway).

From other parts of King County (including SEATAC),
the Metro 222, 245, and 253 buses
stop within one block of DigiPen, seven days a week.
Get off when you see a Chevron station and 7-Eleven on 148th.
The 233 serves stops there Saturday but not Sunday.

WALK
There is a paved bicycle trail along the west side of 520.
To access it from the Marriott, walk towards the 545 bus stop.
The trail entrance is to the right of the freeway entrance.
Exit at 51st. The uphill Marriott-DigiPen walk is about two miles.
