On the road: Orleans to Brinon
An 1.5 hour, 900 franc, taxi ride brought us South of Orleans to the quiet countryside roads.
Our 41 km trip led us to a small one star hotel, the Solognote, at Brinon sur Sauldre. Family owned and operated, we started to eat the many meals of the May produce: asparagus, morel mushrooms, and strawberries.
The next morning in the rain, our hosts arranged that the local Renault dealer gave us and our bikes a lift to Romantin.
