I work at Microsoft Research in the Networking Research Group on problems related to the architecture, design, security, management, and operations of enterprise networks.

Notes:

• Collaborators of mine at CMU and Rice have made available for download the code for the Meta-Management System (MMS). This system provides key primitives that make it much easier to build network management operations.
• The Second Internet Measurement Workshop (INM'07) (aka the Five-Nines Workshop) was held at SIGCOMM 2007. The First Workshop on Internet Network Management (INM'06) was held at SIGCOMM'06. Papers and most slides available on the websites.
• MSR sponsored a workshop on Life at the Edge:Research and Practice in Corporate/Campus Networks to bring together academic and industry researchers, network operators, and vendors working on the problems facing enterprise networks. Slides and videos of the presentations are available on the website, and outline current directions in the work. Four brainstorming sessions came up with new ideas for future research directions.
