Christopher M. Bishop

I am Deputy Director of Microsoft Research Cambridge, and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh. I am also a  Fellow of Darwin College Cambridge. My research interests include machine learning and its applications.

New research positions available

We are currently growing a new research area within the Machine Learning and Perception group focussed on the application of machine learning to bioinformatics and healthcare. In particular, we are looking for outstanding candidates at both Researcher and Postdoctoral level with a strong track record of publication in this field. We also anticipate offering several internships per year in this area for students who have completed at least one year of their PhD research.
