The goal of the Virtual Earth and Location Summit 2008 is threefold:
Share the research results among the winners of the Virtual Earth RFP 2007 to encourage further collaborations
Understand how the assets contributed to enable academic research
Engage in a two-way conversation between university researchers and stakeholders from Microsoft and Microsoft Research
