Fernanda Viégas
Biography
Fernanda Viégas is a Ph.D. candidate in the Sociable Media Group at the MIT
Media Lab. Her research visualizes the traces people leave as they interact
online. Some of her projects explore email archives, newsgroup conversations,
and the editing history of wiki pages. She is particularly fascinated by the
stories that these social archives tell and the patterns they contain. In
addition to having published extensively in the top academic venues in her
field, Fernanda has also exhibited her work in museums and art galleries in New
York, Boston, and LA. More information is available at
