MMSP-06 will include special sessions that are focused on emerging topics in multimedia signal processing. Proposals for such sessions are solicited, each of which must include the (1) title, (2) motivation, (3) session outline, (4) contact information for the session chair, (5) a list of authors who have agreed to present a paper in the session, (6) the title and the abstract of each paper (6 papers per session).

Once a special session is approved, the papers in that session will undergo the same review process as regular paper submissions.

Proposals for special sessions should be submitted to Dr. Shahram Shirani (shirani@ece.mcmaster.ca) before March 8, 2006. Earlier submissions are encouraged.
