Hi! I am Ziming Zhuang, a research intern at the Web Search and Data Mining Group at Microsoft Research. I'm working with Marc Najork on Web search ranking algorithms.

Previously in 2005, I interned with Silviu Cucerzan at the Text Mining, Search, and Navigation Group.

I'm a Ph.D. Candidate at The Pennsylvania State University, advised by Prof. C. Lee Giles. My research interests lie in the synergy between information retrieval, usage mining, and machine learning, with application to search ranking and crawling. I'm a developer for the Next Generation CiteSeer project. For more information, please see my homepage at Penn State.

In spare time, I'm an amateur photographer and avid traveler / backpacker.
