Aimin Pan Professor Chen Xiangqun
MSRA Researcher and OS specialist Aimin Pan delivers the OS teaching in China and past WinCore program experience session. Professor Xiangqun Chen, Vice Dean of Computer Science at Peking University, who lead the China Pioneer Professors' WinCore project, shares their experience in making TRK with the attendees.

Prof. Guanshun Shi Seung-won Hwang
Professor Guangshun of NanKai University, one of the 6 pioneer professors in China, delivers a session about his experience in using WRK/CRK and making of the TRK. Professor Seung-won Hwang of Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea, shared with the attendees of her experience in teaching OS and Windows in POSTECH.

Geok See Ng Roland Yap
Professor Geok See Ng of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, delivers the session on Nanyang's experience in teaching Windows and Taxonomy of Teaching Operating Systems Professor Roland Yap of National University in Singapore delivers a session on Some Reflections in Teaching Operating Systems.

After the day-one session ended, Bill Luan moderated an open Discussion and Q&A session lead by Dave Probert and Arkady Retik, to directly address questions and feedback by the workshop attendees.  Professors responded to the Q&A session with active participation, raised many questions and gave a lot of feedback.

Arkady Handson Session Dave's Hands-on Lab
Arkady Retik leads the Introductory Hands-on Lab in day-2's session to introduce the WRK/CRK resources. Dave Probert leads the Advanced Hands-on Lab in day-2's session to introduce the advanced topics in using WRK.

Professor Lei Wang of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics leads the day-2 hands-on session to introduce the TRK resources. Professor Yu Chen of Tsinghua University leads the day-2 hands-on session to introduce the TRK resources.


Lab Q&A Bill Luan launches the IFP
At the end of the day-2 hands-on lab, Dave Probert and Arkady Retik answer questions from professors about the hands-on lab and using the WRK/CRK resources. After the hands-on lab ended, Bill Luan announces the launching of MSRA 2008 Asian Pacific regional Invitation for Proposal (IFP) for the WinCore research project funding.

Tingting Huang, UR Manager of China, leads the IFP guideline discussion for the professors from China. Gao Zhang and Tingting Huang answers questions from Chinese professors about the 2008 IFP.
