The Microsoft Research Asia Mobile Computing in Education Theme Road Show in China will be held in Sigma, Beijing on May 19th. The Professors in China who submitted proposals for MCE Theme in 2007 and 2008 are invited to share their research results.
In 2007, MSRA UR sponsored 9 Chinese professors to do innovation research based on tablet PCs. In 2008, MSRA MCE theme initiated new topic to do research based on Recognition Research Platform (RRP). There are 13 professors submitting proposals to contribute data, algorithms and innovation ideas for pen-based educational applications.
The Road Show will provide the opportunities for professors to present the excellent results of handwriting recognition research and share the new idea in doing research based on RRP.
