From July 3 to July 7, 2007, the Second Beijing-Hong Kong International Doctoral Forum 2007 on Network and Media Computing was successfully held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China

More than 70 PhD students and 25 distinguished scientists from some 20 institutions attended the conference. Dr. Frank Soong, Principal Researcher of Microsoft Research Asia also attended the forum and gave a keynote speech.

The objective of this student forum is to bring together PhD researchers contributing to all facets of networking and multimedia computing. We especially encourage full and original papers on emerging technologies and significant research contributions such as Network Modeling and Design, Multimedia analysis, Processing, Retrieval, and Network multimedia applications and systems.
