  • MSR Asia Workshop on Mobile Computing in Education
    Singapore, March 19-20, 2007

    For two days, 40 attendees including 35 from the Asia-Pacific region and 5 from the U.S. discussed and exchanged their research results and experiences in pen computing in education.
  • MSR Asia 1st Joint Lab Symposium
    Hong Kong, December 1, 2006

    Since 1998, MSR Asia has established eight joint research labs with universities in China. This first symposium will exchange experience and best practices on building joint labs while sharing research results.
  • 2th Microsoft Institute for Japanese Academic Research Collaboration (IJARC) Symposium
    Kyoto, Japan, November 23, 2006

    This symposium demonstrated the strong research collaboration with Japanese academic community. IJARC projects will be presented, followed by a reception to honor MSR Asia Fellowship Award winners.
  • 2006 MSR Asia Faculty Summit
    Beijing, China, October 23, 2006

    This year's theme was "Growing with the Region." More than 200 deans and professors from universities across the Asia-Pacific region attended the summit.
  • Computing in 21st Century Conference
    Beijing, October 24, 2006
    Taipei, October 27, 2006

    More than 3,000 faculty and students attended this annual event. This year's theme was "The Challenge of Quality Software."
  • Windows Curriculum Workshop
    Singapore, October 9, 2006

    Faculty from the Asia-Pacific attended this training on Windows Operating System Internals Curriculum Resource Kit (CRK), Windows Research Kernel (WRK), and ProjectOZ.
