Results

Preliminary results indicate that at least five times more farmers attempted better agricultural practices after integration of the Digital Green system over the NGO’s previous efforts. Quantifying the impact of the Digital Green system is confounded by the presence of external variables. A rigorous evaluation of the platform has begun in 12 villages of southeastern Karnataka with the support of GREEN Foundation.

Professor Richard Anderson of the University of Washington said the following after a visit to Digital Green's field sites:
"The work is totally amazing."

The following "experiments" were attempted during the initial evolution of the Digital Green system. These “experiments” capture largely isolated events involving a small number of villages (<3) and farmers (<200) over a short span of time (<3 months). The “results” are anecdotal in nature and should not be construed as representative samples. Symbols (↓↑) are used to denote an initial estimation of future potential in the approach.

Detailed information on these on-going "experiments" can be found in the documents section.
