 About Interactive Posters/Demos

AIRS2004 will include special sessions for interactive posters/demos. Poster/Demo presentations present original work in progress, on-going research projects with novel ideas/applications, or late-breaking results that are best communicated in an interactive format.

Interactive Poster/Demo sessions provide a forum of academic and technical exchanges. The topics of interest cover all aspects of information retrieval, as outlined in the CFP for the Main Technical Session.
Authors should submit an original paper (of no more than 4 pages) that describes and emphasizes the problem of the research and the novelty of the methods or theories being used. All the Poster/Demo submissions will be reviewed by the same program committee as the main technical sessions.

 Submission Information (Deadline expired)

Submissions should be sent through the conference paper submission system at:

http://msrcmt.research.microsoft.com/AIRSPOSTER2004/

The format of the final camera-ready manuscripts should comply with the guidelines of ACM SIGIR.
We can accept poster papers using MS Word 2000 or in PDF format. It is the responsibility of authors to ensure that their papers use no unusual format features and are printable on a standard Postscript printer. Hardcopy or electronic copy in other formats will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances. Word templates for SIGIR submissions are available from the ACM Website:

 http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html

NOTE: The Poster papers are maximum 4 pages which will be included in the companion volume of the conference proceedings.
