Image-Based Realities - 3D Video Download

Important Notes (Please read first!)

Each file is a Microsoft Installer package (MSI), to enable the End-User License Agreement (EULA) to be embedded for legal reasons. Just save the files to a local directory and run them. The MSI package requires Windows OS for installation, and places the data files in a subdirectory in C:\Program Files.

These sequences were used for our video interpolation work described in "High-quality video view interpolation using a layered representation," C.L. Zitnick, S.B. Kang, M. Uyttendaele, S. Winder, and R. Szeliski, ACM SIGGRAPH and ACM Trans. on Graphics, Los Angeles, CA, Aug. 2004, pp. 600-608.

Each sequence is 100 frames long. The camera resolution is 1024x768 and the capture rate is 15fps. The depth data were computed using the stereo technique described in our Siggraph'04 paper and should not be regarded as ground truth. Each dataset was broken up into five parts due to its large size.

Each dataset has two text files: calibParams-breakdancers.txt or calibParams-ballet.txt and README.txt. They contain the camera parameters (intrinsic and extrinsic) and instructions on how to interpret the depth values.

All the MSI files are currently located in ftp://ftp.research.microsoft.com/users/sbkang/. Please note that this location is temporary. I will update this link in this webpage when the location changes.

If you have problems, please refer to the document which describes our projection test.

Please email sbkang(at)microsoft.com if you have any questions.
