"I joined MSRC in May 2006. My
research interests include
structured document retrieval, in particular applied to books, and its evaluation.
I am an organizer of the new Book Search track at INEX 2007. I
also continue working on metrics for the evaluation of XML IR systems.
Another
project I am involved in is Researchers Desktop Live!, an information
management system designed specifically for researchers and scholars." |

"My research interests include text mining, link analysis, Web information retrieval and social network analysis. I joined the team in September 2005, after being awarded a
1-year post-doctoral grant by the Portuguese
Foundation for Science and Technology. My current research is in Web
structure and content mining, mainly involved in the InSite Live! and
the Community Buzz projects."

Gavin is a Research Software Developer, with the team since 2002, working on a variety
of projects: prototyping and evaluation of a rich Web client, user
study and data analysis tools, and research experiments. |

Rachel has been collaborating with the Integrated Systems team since 2002. She
is Director of Instrata
Ltd, founded in 2001, specializing in user-centred design and
technology development. In the past, Rachel worked at Xerox
EuroPARC and Sapient (formerly E-lab).

Hicks |
Martin was an HCI assistant, helping with the design and implementation of user studies. He was with the team between March 2006 and June 2007. |

Blaz Fortuna |
Blaz joined the team in September 2006 for a 6-months
internship, collaborating in the Community Buzz and InSite Live! projects. His research
interest include machine learning with applications in text mining. |

Shashank spent three months as Summer 2005 intern with the
Integrated Systems team, working on mining of Web site structure.

Dunja Mladenic |
Dunja Mladenic works at the Department
of Intelligent Systems of the J. Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Most of
her research work is in machine learning techniques and applications. Dunja has
collaborated with the team on a number of joint research projects in text data
mining.

Marko Grobelnik |
Marko Grobelnik works at the Department
of Intelligent Systems of the J. Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. His
current research focuses on data mining with particular interest in learning
from text, applied on large data sets.

Janez Brank |
"I am a graduate student of computer science at the
University of Ljubljana. I
also work as a researcher at the Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
My main interests is in data mining on textual data; I've done some work
in text categorization and feature selection." Participated in a number of joint
project that the team had with Jozef Stefan Institue. Joined the team as an
intern from Sept 2004 until Dec 2004." |

Jure Leskovec |
Jure is a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. He
was an intern with the team in Summer 2002 when he worked on an initial WebScout
prototype. Jure also collaborated with the team on document summarization using
deep NLP techniques and semantic graph analysis.
