Welcome to the Demo Proceedings of the Tenth International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV2005). The goal of the demonstrations sessions is to feature live demonstrations given by their developers, and to provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners of the computer vision community to present and exchange ideas in an interactive way. These demonstrations present all or part of a working computer vision system developed for vision, graphics, or pattern recognition tasks.
Based on content and suitability as a demo, I have accepted 18 proposals for demonstrations at ICCV2005. These demos range from new vision hardware to relatively mature systems such as face detection. I hope that you will enjoy the demo sessions and that computer vision technologies will find wider industrial and everyday applications.
