Pex - Automated Whitebox Testing for .NET : Ignoring Explorations

Ignoring Explorations

When you need to disable an exploration or a fixture (temporarily), you can use your unit test framework 'ignore' attribute. You can also the PexIgnore attribute to mark the method or type:

[PexMethod]
[PexIgnore("ignore reason")]
public void MyTest(int i) {...}

If the exploration is ignored because of a workitem, one can also specify the workitem id in the PexIgnore attribute constructor:

[PexMethod]
[PexIgnore("ignore reason", WorkItemId = 12345)]
public void MyTest(int i) {...}
