    False discovery rate (FDR) estimates the proportion of false positives among those tests that are deemed significant. This tool computes FDR for 2x2 contingency tables based on Fisher's statistic. You can load your own set of tables and calculate q-values for these tables. Learn more...

    Quick Help

    • Use the browse (…) button to select a file containing the input data.
    • Select the appropriate data properties.
    • Select the FDR computation options that best fit your need.
    • Press Compute.
    • Switch tabs to see various visualizations of the computed statistics.
    • Press Copy to clipboard and paste the results into Excel.

    Example

    Click on Run example to automatically run the tool on an example dataset. You can also use the example data as you would use regular data:
    • Download the text file hlaLD.txt that contains a set of example tables. Save the text file to your local disk.

    • Open the file using a text editor to see the format of the data.
    • Press the browse (…) button and find the file hlaLD.txt that you downloaded.
    • The data contains column headers. Check the First row contains column headers option.
    • Each row begins with two labels identifying the two HLA classes. Set Table counts start on column to 3.
    • Press Compute.
