Overview

The Computational Photography Group creates leading-edge technology that uses computation to push the limits of photography. We work on both early-stage research and turning promising research into applications that you can run on your own phones and computers.

Several of our recent apps are highlighted on the list to the right. These apps have been used by millions of people to improve their photography through the use of sophisticated technologies, including image alignment, image denoising, multi-image fusion, image understanding, 3D reconstruction, user interfaces for photography, GPU image processing, and more. Our mission is to continue to invent new photo technologies and enable our users to take advantage of them in powerful, simple-to-use apps.
