I was in Kyoto, Japan, the week of Sept. 28 for ICCV. I skipped one poster session to revisit the Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavillion, 金阁寺). I visited it 12 years ago when I was doing my sabbatical at ATR. And one evening, with one of my former students Ruigang Yang and his students, we went to a hot spring (Kurama Onsen, 鞍马温泉).
