I am a principal researcher at Microsoft Research. I am currently
interested in designing and building large-scale distributed systems to
solve important problems and using this experience to drive the design of
innovative computation, execution, and storage frameworks for large-scale
distributed systems. I just returned from a two year stint in Bing, where I
co-lead an effort to build a highly scalable
and efficient web search engine.
