My research interests lie in the experimental aspects of networked systems and computer security. My recent work has centered on the design and implementation of three classes of systems:1. Systems that improve the security and privacy of Internet users:
2. Systems that enable new functionality:
- Systems for computing with sensitive data: Bunker.
- Systems for improving the privacy of social data: Lockr.
- New anti-phishing, anti-spyware, worm-prevention systems: iTrustPage, SpySaver, Bluetooth Worms.
3. Systems that characterize new emerging network environments:
- Mobile apps: Trusted sensors, MAUI, Location proofs, HAWAII.
- Large-scale datacenter systems: Volley, uFragments.
- Network transparency: Glasnost.
- Network testbeds and tools: BlueMonarch, SatelliteLab, Monarch.
