I’m a researcher in the Natural Interaction group at Microsoft Research. I’m also an affiliate faculty member in the department of Computer Science and Engineering and in the Information School at the University of Washington, where I participate in the DUB research consortium. My research interests include human-computer interaction and computer-supported cooperative work; in particular, collaborative search and social search and surface computing. Here's a link to my bio.

* I am co-organizing the Social Search Social for attendees of WSDM 2012 and CSCW 2012.
* I am program co-chair for ITS 2012, which will be in Cambridge, MA in November.
* Jacob O. Wobbrock and I are co-teaching "Input and Interaction" at the University of Washington during spring quarter 2012.
* I am going to be program chair for CSCW 2014.
