Of course, we have no idea about Internet's size or growth, but I make it 98% a year with 20 million in January 1995. So in 1996, there could be over 40 million users.

Everything goes up and to the right, fast. Also, with this much growth, you can forget the distant past.

Always plot exponentials on a semi-log graph. A linear plot is for gee-whiz, not insight.

The world population is essentially flat. I guessed at the data about the telephones and TV since I didn't want to spend time surfing. They're probably a tenth of the world population. By 2004 Internet will probably have a half billion users.
