We welcome the following types of papers:
Research papers that introduce new deep-learning models or apply established deep-learning models to speech recognition and related sequential pattern recognition tasks,
Research papers that explore theoretical and computational issues in deep-learning, or
Position papers that discuss shortcomings and desiderata of current deep-learning models, or propose new directions for future research.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed.
All papers presented at the workshop will be made available as electronic
proceedings. Exceptional work will be considered for publication in a special
issue of an IEEE Journal that the organizers of this workshop are currently
planning. Submissions should be 4-to-8 pages long, and adhere to NIPS format
(http://nips.cc/PaperInformation/StyleFiles). Please submit your paper through
the workshop management website
Please note that papers that have previously appeared (or have been accepted for publication) in a journal or at a conference or workshop, or that are being submitted to another workshop, are not appropriate for this workshop.
