TCP Splice

A technique for implementing split-connection proxies with out violating TCP end-to-end reliability semantics. The technique can be implemented in-kernel, thereby providing an easy-to-use primitive for building high performance proxies that support mobility, web caching, firewall and transcoding services. Joint work with Pravin Bhagwat conducted at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center.
