Here is a postscript file for slides from a sphere packing talk aimed at undergraduates but intended to be interesting to faculty as well. There are a lot of things I say that don't appear on the slides, so use them at your own risk. This talk does not cover any of my work (everything in it is well known, although I don't cite references on the slides).
