The CHESS team is happy to announce a new release of CHESS, with support for managed code (.NET) and integration with Visual Studio 2008. For more information see the CHESS blog, documentation, FAQ, and forum.
Pick the right release for you
CHESS is available in two flavors. Both have the same features. The flavors only differ in the target platform and the license:
- Visual Studio: must have Visual Studio Team System 2008 (Team Dev or Team Test Editions)
- License: Microsoft Pre-Release Software License
- Download: v0.1.30626.0, 6/26/2009, download chess.devlabs.msi
- MSR release
- Visual Studio: must have Visual Studio Professional 2008
- License: Microsoft Research License, for academic use only
- Download: v0.1.30626.0, 6/26/2009, download chess.msr.msi
Requirements
- Windows 2003 or later, 32 bit, x86.
- Visual Studio 2008 (see below for more details on particular versions)
