.

Zhiwei Xiong received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2006 and 2011. As a visiting student, he was once with National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2005 and 2010. He joined Internet Media Group, Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) as an associate researcher in 2011, where he has formerly been a research intern for four years. His research interests include, but are not limited to, visual data compression, inverse problems in computer vision, and 3D imaging.
