Yinglian joined Microsoft Research Silicon Valley in 2006. She received Ph.D from Carnegie Mellon University, with thesis work on network forensics and anomaly detection. Her general research interests are in security, privacy, distributed systems, and networking. Her recent work focuses on improving online service security.
