Brief Introduction

Xiaoyan Sun received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1997, 1999 and 2004, respectively. Since 2004, she has been with Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing, where she is currently a Researcher with the internet media group.

I enjoy doing research in the area of image and video processing, and computer vision. Recently, my research has focused on vision-based image and video compression.
