I am an Associate Researcher in System Research Group. I got an A.B. degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2002 and a M.S. degree from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005.
In Institute of Computing Technology, I was working on the general CPU Loongson(also known as the Godson chip) which is the first general processor designed by chinese. I participated the development the BIOS fireware in the Loongson System and improved the MMU subsystem of Loongson Linux. I also participated a lot of software development on the Loongson system such as the ZhongQing Education Embedded System transplant, initialization of VGA chip, troubleshotting of Mainboard and the chip self. I took part in the design of the RTL mainboard simulator for the next Loongson version.
My primary research focus is on operation system, embedding system, firmware and distributed systems, with an emphasis of building the practical and useful systems.
