Thomas E. Healy, Director, External Research Strategy in Microsoft Research, has worked with universities around the world for the past ten years. In this role, he has collaborated with academics on a variety of programs, such as research projects in North America, Latin America and India; the MIT iCampus research alliance; the Microsoft Research New Faculty Fellowship program; the Microsoft Research Faculty Summit; and, the worldwide Microsoft Research Digital Inclusion program. Prior to joining Microsoft Research, he worked in the computer industry for 20 years focusing on the role technology plays in education. He has received a B.A. in Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and, an M.S. in Organizational Development from Lesley University.
