SOFTWARE ENGINEER
.

I currently work in the Shared Technology Group (STG) at the MGS Game Developer Rare, although I previously worked as a PDRA at various Universities. I've got papers published on substitutional and linear defects in semi-conductors, thin film delamination, a link between the Bern-Gaye and Boids models and electro-cardio-dynamics. I presented my current work on Rare's GPGPU particle system at Develop 2008, along with my collegue Sebastian Sylvan. The powerpoint slides for which can be seen here.

As a personal project I converted my old research code for cardiac simulations to first work on the CPU on an XBox 360 and the onto the GPU as GPGPU application. A preprint of which can be found below.

A recording of a seminar I gave on it at the Kroto Research Institute can be found here.
