I am Post-doc Researcher in the Computational User Experiences group at Microsoft Research in Redmond, WA. I am interested in novel co-design and application of sensors and algorithms to extraction and interpretation of signals generated around (and within) us. I spend large part of my day writing code to extract information from super-noisy signals, and tinkering with sensing and imaging prototypes.
In my previous life (as a graduate student at the Center for Imaging Science, RIT), I worked on development of image preprocessing algorithms for functional MRI data to enhance biomarker differences between controls and patients (Schizophrenia etc.). I also spend some time at the MIT Media Lab developing low-cost and wearable diagnostic imaging prototypes to detect and monitor systematic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
Drop me a line if you're interested in knowing more about my research.
