Philip A. Chou is a Principal Researcher in the Interactive 3D Technologies (I3D) research group at Microsoft Research. General Interests: signal processing, data compression, information theory, communications, and pattern recognition with applications to dynamic geometry, video, images, audio, speech, and documents. Current Interests: 3D compression for augmented and virtual reality, signal processing on graphs, telepresence and immersive 3D communication, network data science, time-of-flight depth cameras.
