Matt Scott

Matt Scott
Matt Scott is a senior development lead in the Innovation Engineering Group at Microsoft Research Asia. He works to enhance and develop Microsoft products with technical innovation from research. His interests include Natural Language Processing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Computer-Assisted Language Learning. He leads the Microsoft Research Asia “Engkoo” cloud-based linguistics projects (language assistance, translation, language learning, input method) that directly led to the creation of two new Microsoft products used by millions of people in China: Bing Dictionary and Bing Pinyin IME. Matt is a member of the IEEE.
