I am a quantum information theorist and mathematical physicist. I focus on topologically ordered phases which may allow universal quantum computation. I am interested in applications of ideas from quantum information theory to condensed matter physics, in particular in non-local entanglement in topologically ordered phases. I use a variety of analytical and mathematical approaches and also have some interest in numerical simulation and application of these mathematical ideas to develop novel algorithms. Most of my publications can be found online on the arXiv.
