I joined Microsoft Research, Sillicon Valley, since 2008.  I am working on projects related to datacenter and distributed computing platforms.  I am also interested in security problems in large-scale distributed systems such as Internet.

I received my Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in 2008. Before that, I received my M.S. degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2005, and my M.E. and B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University, China in 2002 and 2000.  During graduate schools, I worked in areas of security, systems, networking and computer vision.
