Layong (Larry) Luo is an Associate Researcher in Wireless and Networking Group, Microsoft Research Asia. His current research interests include data center networking, software-defined networking and hardware-accelerated network algorithms.
He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2013, and B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2008. In ICT, he was working on building hardware based network systems, including FPGA based network measurement and traffic control system, programmable virtual routers etc.
