Ahmed Hassan

I completed my Ph.D. with Prof. Dragomir Radev at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, studying how language use reveals the formation of social relations in on-line communities. I then moved to Microsoft Research Redmond to join the Internet Services Research Center (ISRC).

Research Interests

My research focuses on Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing, with applications to Web Search, and social media. I also have a strong interest in Machine Learning, Text Mining, Data Mining, Information Extraction, and Social Network Analysis.
